What is it used for?

It is used to monitor the progress of cases such as:​

What information does it show?

  • The current stage of your case (e.g., “Case Received,” “Case Approved,” “Request for Evidence”)

  • Important processing dates

  • Instructions if any action is required (such as submitting documents)

What do you need to use it?

  • Just the receipt number, which is found on the USCIS notice you receive after filing. It has 13 characters, such as: EAC1234567890
